Estudio
Frank Gardner. Visit the Frank Gardner Gallery at Zacateros
75. Frank is known for capturing the light and color of Mexico in
his street scenes, landscapes and marketplaces. In his oil paintings
he allows color to govern each piece and gives just enough detail
to maintain a relaxed mood. The combination of confident brushwork,
dynamic compositions and lively color invokes true character in
Frank's work. More

Juan
Ezcurdia. This local artist has quickly become a legend in San Miguel.
His profoundly charming paintings speak to a whimsical and playful
nature, while also evoking deep reactions from the viewer. A self-taught
artist, Ezcurdia is a native of Mexico City who has illustrated
children's books for a number of years. His characters, whether
animal or human, all seem to portray universal emotions, easily
allowing the viewer to identify with the work. More
