ACTING TECHNIQUE FOR ADULTS
This dynamic series of workshops for adults will include; physical, vocal, and most importantly, emotional warm ups as well as a fun, improvisational, method based, approach to acting utilizing both original & published scenes.

The focus will be on the craft of acting, building on each participant’s unique life experience in a safe, professional & creative environment. Monologue & Scene Study classes will require participants to memorize and rehearse with partners outside of class.

$1,500 Pesos, 1 month (8 classes)

Alan Jordan, Artistic Director, has been a working professional actor/director and educator in Canada & United States for over 30 years. He is a graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York where he studied with the renowned Sanford Meisner.

Mr. Jordan’s many stage credits include starring roles at New York’s Circle Repertory Company, Manhattan Theater Club and Playwrights Horizon as well as Stratford Festival in Canada. He toured United States in National Companies of Applause and Shenandoah.

TV and Film audiences have seen Mr. Jordan in over 100 productions such as Hill Street Blues, Dallas, Falcon Crest, Knight Rider, Fall Guy, Friday 13th, Echoes in the Darkness, Sorry Wrong Number, Woman on the Run, African Journey, The Young and the Restless, and Santa Barbara.

In Hollywood, Mr. Jordan was a faculty member at the Los Angeles High School for Performing Arts; Chairman of the Board at Theatre West; and in San Francisco, was an advisor to the Young Conservatory at American Conservatory Theater.

In Toronto, Mr. Jordan founded The Actors Workshop where he was Artistic Director for 15 years. World renowned actor/teacher Uta Hagen was advisor, and taught master classes for The Actors Workshop.
Alan Jordan also co-founded Actors Repertory Company now producing in Canada.
